How DJMC handles your information
This site is run by DJMC. It collects as little as possible: nothing at all when you simply listen, and only what you type when you use a form.
Listening
Streams use a short-lived, anonymous identifier stored in a cookie named djmc_v. It contains a random value, not your name or email, and it exists only so the player can verify that a stream request came from your browser. Play counts are recorded as totals, not tied to you.
Mailing list
When you subscribe, your email address is sent to Brevo, the service that delivers the newsletter. You will receive a confirmation email first (double opt-in) and nothing is sent until you confirm. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. This follows Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Booking requests
The booking form is delivered by Formspree to DJMC's inbox. The details you provide (name, email, phone, event information) are used only to reply to your request and are not added to any marketing list.
Video
Videos are streamed through Cloudflare Stream. Cloudflare may record standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the stream and protect against abuse.
What this site does not do
- No advertising or tracking cookies.
- No selling or sharing of your information with anyone other than the services named above, which act on DJMC's behalf.
- No profiles built from your listening.
